Sense
The problem
Research showed that people find it hard to understand the world of people who are both deaf and blind. Some conclude that they cannot possibly lead lives that are worth living.
The solution
We show that Sense enables deaf and blind children to use the little sight and hearing they have — and their other senses — to learn about the world. Holding a stone brings back memories of a Sense holiday spent at the seaside. This appeal delivers the best response rate and average gift that the charity has seen since Christmas 2001 (we did this pack too).
