FARM-Africa set itself ambitious targets for increased income and supporters. How could they compete against better–known and funded development organisations in a congested market place?
FARM-Africa provides poor farmers with chickens, goats and sheep. So we created FARM FRIENDS, which could be bought as gifts. The product appealed to people who weren't necessarily looking to give to charity, but wanted to give an original and thoughtful present. Once introduced to FARM FRIENDS, both buyers and gift recipients successfully converted to monthly giving.
